Congratulations to Coraopolis Firefighter Jared Messersmith on completing his training in the Allegheny County Firefighting Essentials Program and becoming certified as an Interior Firefighter. This program consists of 180+ hours of training in the different aspects of firefighting.

Thank you Ladder 34 Rescued Goods for the donation of masks to the Coraopolis VFD. If you are looking for masks they have a great product and for every mask purchased Ladder 34 donates a mask to a fire department.

Coraopolis VFD placed 14 MSA SCBA G1 air packs into service today. The new SCBA units were purchased with a grant from the Office of the Pennsylvania State Fire Commissioner and from donations from our community.

Station 127 and Station 205 responded to a report of a smoke detector going off in a apartment. Food left unattended burnt on the stove. A fan was used to clear smoke from the apartment.
